How to make Roblox clothing

Few games are as rich in content as Roblox, it is a complete platform where players can not only play, but also create their own universe and share it with others. Roblox is and will always be a jewel of the game with millions of players and the need to distinguish themselves from other players, which can be achieved by creating costumes or skins. This is one of the few games where you can create designs for our avatars, and here we explain how to make clothes in Roblox.

The requirements for making clothes

To start creating garments, you will need the official templates, you must not resize the templates, and you must have an image editing program such as Illustrator or Basic Paint. The models are made by the people of Roblox, from these sketches we start making the clothes, these models are for pants and shirts.

It is important to know the size of the models. If you change them during the creation, the Roblox servers do not support this. The correct size is 585 wide by 589 high, change it as much as you want from the image, but do not change the size because you cannot wear the clothes.

The editing program to be used must be a bit more complex than Paint if you want to wear clothes with a good finish. There are many possibilities: If you don’t want to pay an editor, use InkScape or Gimp and you can start creating.

Creating clothes in Roblox

First you have to get the template (shirt, trousers) and open it with the editing program you have chosen. Then it’s time to know which part of the garment will be modified, this is explained with the colors of the model, the fact is that it is in English, but don’t worry, here we explain it:

Green: the arms you can see at the sides.
Red: parts of the chest and arms that can be seen from the front.
Orange: parts of the arms that can be seen from below.
Dark blue: parts of the back and arms that can be seen from behind.
Blue: parts of the shoulders seen from above.
Yellow: parts of the arms seen from below.

You can change the color of the patterns, but don’t just use colors, use your own logo or design. You can make clothes from drawings of characters from movies or other video games, there are no limits to your creativity.

Remember that you are not allowed to go beyond the limits of the design. It won’t work this way, because the final size is not the one Roblox specifies.

Uploading is the easiest part, log in with your account on the Roblox platform and go to the Create option, then select the Shirts option and look for the image of the clothes you just saved on your computer. Select the one you designed and click on “Upload”, the clothes are ready in the platform, you just have to outfit your character in Roblox and finally have the clothes made by you.
